- Around 20 to 25 alumni in Delhi joined together in 1980 to form a social group
- The group had its meetings at the residence of members by rotation
- Picnics at India Gate Lawns and Lodi Garden followed the first get together at Badkal Lake in 1981
- The “group” grew in size over years as more and more alumni came to Delhi
- AIPAA was formally registered as a society in 1991, at which time it had just over 80 members[View Certificate]
- Today AIPAA is more than 800 strong with members spread across the country
- AIPAA members range from 60 years young to 21 years old
- We feel proud when we talk about our members having reached glorious heights in their careers
